About Department
Computer technology department was started from 1996, with intake of 40,in the year 2009 intake capacity increase to 60. Department is having well equipped laboratories and laboratory equipment are fully utilized. Our department has good working atmosphere both teaching and non teaching staff members go out of the way to cooperate with each other while attending to different responsibilities. Pass out students can start their own carrier in small software development fims or hardware maintainance firms. They can also work as programmer, maintanance engineer, hardware engineer in various sectors and companies.

Welcome to Computer Technology Program at Government Polytechnic, Bramhapuri. It's my honour to work as Incharge of Computer Technology Program. Together with our Students, Staff and well qualified Faculty we try to impart effective Learning and Teaching with the help of latest Teaching aids and Technology. Its my pleasure to inspire the students to achieve Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) framed by MSBTE as per NBA guidelines.
PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)
- PEO 1. Provide socially responsible, environment friendly solutions to Computer Technology related broad- based problems adapting professional ethics.
- PEO 2. Adapt state-of-the-art Computer Technology broad- based technologies to work in multi-disciplinary work environments.
- PEO 3. Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work.
PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)
- PO1 Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
- PO2 Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
- PO3 Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well- defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs
- PO4 Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
- PO5 Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
- PO6 Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.
